Control Software Engineer

Role: Control Software Engineer

Location: Washington, DC (On-site only)

Job Description:

This role will be responsible for owning the platform control software that translates motion planner trajectories to drive-by-wire commands.

Qualifications

Required education & experience:

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Control Systems, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in Controls Systems Software Engineering.
3. Experience in programming languages such as C/C , Python, and MATLAB/Simulink
4. Experience in control theory and control systems design
5. Experience with ground vehicle steering and braking actuation systems

Preferred experience:

1. Familiarity with AI and machine learning techniques for control systems.
2. Experience with real-world controls experience in automotive or aerospace industries
