In this technical role will conduct a 50/50 split between desk work and plant floor work. You will be troubleshooting PLCs, conducting program modifications, getting your hands dirty through electrical troubleshooting, and conducting some design work. This role is fully on-site and entails an on-call rotation.
This role would suit a Controls Engineer with hands-on maintenance experience looking to play a pivotal role at a market-leading business, offering a site based role and specialist training.
The Role:
- PLC troubleshooting and program modifications
- Work alongside the maintenance team out on the floor to ensure appropriate upkeep of plant machinery.
- Support continuous improvement by analyzing plant processes and solving technical issues
The Person:
- PLC/Drive experience - preferably Allen-Bradley or Siemens
- Electrical troubleshooting experience
- AutoCAD experience
- HMI experience
