Description Markon is seeking Contracts Support Specialists to support our NRO client at multiple locations across the US. Responsibilities The ideal Contracts Support Specialist will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following tasks: Provide general office support, including logistical coordination, document formatting, filing, photocopying, meeting scheduling, and calendar management.
Maintain original contract files (hard copy and electronic) within the NRO's Electronic Procurement Exchange (EPX) Studio system.
Distribute contract documents to internal and external stakeholders.
Maintain organized files within a Windows NT environment.
Assist with processing invoices and tracking contract-related actions.
Develop and maintain tracking systems for action items and contract modifications.
Prepare minor contract modifications and supporting documentation for funding changes, award fees, period of performance extensions, and administrative updates. Qualifications Required: TS/SCI with a Counterintelligence Polygraph (Preferably with this client)
High School Diploma, Associate's Degree, or Bachelor's Degree required (dependent on level)
2-10+ years of experience in contracts or administrative support
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Experience handling sensitive documentation
Desired: Prior experience supporting federal contracts or acquisition functions
Familiarity with contract writing systems such as EPX Studio
Knowledge of government procurement and contract modification processes
Experience working within a government or defense contracting environment Salary Range USD $90,000.00 - USD $145,000.00 /Yr. The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
