The Strategic Division (SD) supports high-reliability organizations including Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP), Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center, and the Department of Energy (DOE), among others. Our support across our client base is expanding rapidly and encompasses important services, such as data analytics and visualization, threat analysis, risk management, modeling and simulation, cost estimating, earned value management, program management, system engineering, independent evaluation, and High Consequence Event prevention. Responsibilities: The Contract Specialist will assist the Reentry Branch of Strategic Systems Programs as a resident contractor with contract proposal activities, contract modifications, contract execution and other program office support. Candidates need the ability to work as part of a team and prioritize their own project load. Candidates are expected to sit at Maritime Plaza, Washington DC and must be comfortable working in a rapidly growing, fast-paced environment. Required Qualifications: U.S. Citizen with DoD Top Secret Security Clearance Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or another equivalent field 4-7 Years experience in Government Finance and Acquisitions or equivalent experience Proficient in DoD contracting processes and software
Proficient in SAP Navy Enterprise Resource Program (ERP) Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Desired Qualifications: DAWIA contracting (professional) certification CFCM/CCCM/CPCM certification Contracting experience supporting Strategic Systems Programs
Experience with Government Contracts
Experience with Navy and DoD Acquisitions
10+ Years Experience in Government Finance and Acquisitions
