Hybrid Contracts Specialist in San Francisco/Bay Area Opportunity
Job Details:
We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Consulting Contracts Specialist to join our team in the Healthcare industry. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in negotiating, structuring, and managing contracts that will enable our team to deliver the best possible services to our clients. This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a growing team that drives strategic decisions at the highest levels of our organization.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead the negotiation and structuring of complex consulting contracts with healthcare clients, ensuring that all agreements meet our company's standards and strategic objectives.
2. Collaborate with internal teams including legal, finance, and business development to ensure that all contracts align with company policies and regulatory requirements.
3. Manage the entire contract lifecycle, from initiation to execution, including tracking and monitoring contract changes, deliverables, and milestones.
4. Evaluate contract performance to determine the necessity for amendments or extensions, and ensure all contracts are closed out properly.
5. Conduct risk assessments on contract terms and conditions and provide guidance on contract matters to project managers or other operational staff.
6. Develop and implement contract management tools and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
7. Maintain a deep understanding of the healthcare industry, including trends, regulations, and competitors, to inform contract negotiations and strategy.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in contract management, preferably within the healthcare consulting industry.
3. Experience in academic or research settings is highly desirable.
4. Strong knowledge of contract law, particularly as it applies to the healthcare industry.
5. Exceptional negotiation skills, with the ability to resolve contract disputes and manage complex negotiations.
6. Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
7. High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex contract terms and conditions.
9. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex contract issues to non-legal professionals.
10. Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
