Summary:
The Contracts Specialist will play a key role in supporting contract administration and management, including the preparation, review, and negotiation of major Government, Commercial, International, Military, and Defense contracts.
Essential Duties:
- Manage customer RFPs/RFQs to ensure high-quality, compliant proposals that align with company goals and minimize risk.
- Coordinate major proposal activities, including pricing, documentation, and submission of quotations to customers.
- Review and analyze contract terms and conditions, providing risk assessments and negotiation recommendations to management.
- Support the Customer Service department by reviewing customer purchase orders and offering guidance on contractual matters.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date contract files, including supporting documentation such as negotiation notes and pricing agreements.
- Track and manage contract amendments, pricing escalations, and other ongoing contract changes.
- Prepare, review, and maintain NDAs, PIAs, representations and certifications, and other contractual documents.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations, including ITAR, EAR, FAR, and DFARS.
- Identify and implement process improvements within the contracts function to increase efficiency and reduce risk.
- Serve as a liaison between internal departments and external customers to resolve contract-related issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
