Job Summary:

Responsible for providing comprehensive support in contracts administration and management. This includes proposal preparation, negotiation recommendations, contract modifications, customer communication, and ensuring contract compliance. The role requires collaboration with internal teams and external customers to facilitate effective contract execution while ensuring company policies and risk management practices are upheld.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the contracts function under general direction, including tasks delegated by senior leadership.
  • Manage and respond to customer RFPs/RFQs with accurate and timely proposals, aligning with business goals while minimizing organizational risk.
  • Ensure all proposals are well-documented, including customer requirements, pricing justifications, negotiation notes, and final agreements.
  • Lead major proposal efforts and submit quotations and contract offers to clients.
  • Review and assess contractual terms and conditions; summarize potential risks for internal review and negotiation planning.
  • Assist customer service teams by reviewing purchase order terms and providing contractual guidance.
  • Implement and support process improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance within the contracts function.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date contract files and documentation.
  • Track contract modifications and pricing escalations to ensure timely compliance.
  • Review, manage, and maintain agreements such as NDAs, PIAs, Representations & Certifications, and similar legal documents.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in contract review, negotiation, and administration across government, commercial, international, and defense sectors.
  • Aerospace or manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
  • Contract Management certification is a plus.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Solid understanding of ITAR/EAR regulations and U.S. Government contracting requirements (FARS, DFARS).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex contract language.
  • Proven negotiation skills for pricing and terms.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Effective communication skills-both written and verbal.
  • Highly organized, with strong time management and problem-solving abilities.
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and adjust to shifting demands with urgency and accuracy.

  • None.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 20 lbs.
  • Occasional bending; frequent sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Frequent use of computer and communication equipment.
