Contracts Manager with Security Clearance

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Contracts Manager to join a National Defense Contract located in El Segundo, CA through 100% full onsite presence . The Contracts Manager will be in charge of all contract management duties including drafting, negotiating, budgeting, and compliance to support the Space System Command's mission. Responsibilities of the Contracts Manager include: Advise the client on strategies, contracting, budgeting & execution and draft documentation in accordance with FAR Assist with pre & post award procurement actions/meetings Aid in contract negotiation/modification, budget determination, and create supporting documentation on requests for proposals and technical evaluations Draft technical evaluations and proposal advice Assess contractor designs & milestone reviews to program stakeholders Qualifications of the Contracts Manager include: 15+ years of experience with: Contracting regulations & procurement procedures DOD major capability acquisition system procedures Joint Capability integration & Development System process Planning, programming, budget, and execution process Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree preferred Preferred Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM), Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM), or DAWIA Level II/III Certification in Contracting Active Top Secret Clearance with in-scope Background Investigation or Continuous Evaluation (BI/CE, T5 or SSBI) Willing to be nominated for access to Sensitive Compartment Information and Special Access programs and willing to consent to a Polygraph examination Compensation for the Contracts Manager includes: Salary Range: $160,000-200,000 depending on experience Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k Plan, Holidays, PTO, sick leave as required by law
