VANRATH is assisting a reputable Electrical & Manufacturing company with the recruitment of a Project Manager. This is a permanent position based at the company's site in Cookstown.

The role is on-site, Monday to Friday, offering a salary that is fully negotiable along with a benefits package, yearly salary reviews, and progression opportunities.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage key projects from concept to completion, including installation and commissioning.
  • Control capital expenditure in line with budgets.
  • Lead teams across disciplines and subcontractors.
  • Provide technical expertise in water industry projects.
  • Ensure projects meet technical specifications and client requirements.
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and suppliers for successful delivery.
  • Represent the company at client site and contract meetings.
  • Work with SHEQ Manager to manage safety, health, environmental, and quality matters, including risk assessments and legislative compliance.
Ideal Candidate:
  • Engineering qualification or relevant subject.
  • Proven success in planning, budgeting, and delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Knowledge of industry practices and H&S legislation, including risk assessments and HAZOPS.
  • Ability to work independently at remote sites.
  • Commercial awareness and ability to identify new opportunities.
Desirable:
  • Experience in the water industry, especially in water/wastewater treatment plant upgrades.
