VANRATH is assisting a reputable Electrical & Manufacturing company with the recruitment of a Project Manager. This is a permanent position based at the company's site in Cookstown.
The role is on-site, Monday to Friday, offering a salary that is fully negotiable along with a benefits package, yearly salary reviews, and progression opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Manage key projects from concept to completion, including installation and commissioning.
- Control capital expenditure in line with budgets.
- Lead teams across disciplines and subcontractors.
- Provide technical expertise in water industry projects.
- Ensure projects meet technical specifications and client requirements.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and suppliers for successful delivery.
- Represent the company at client site and contract meetings.
- Work with SHEQ Manager to manage safety, health, environmental, and quality matters, including risk assessments and legislative compliance.
Ideal Candidate:
- Engineering qualification or relevant subject.
- Proven success in planning, budgeting, and delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Knowledge of industry practices and H&S legislation, including risk assessments and HAZOPS.
- Ability to work independently at remote sites.
- Commercial awareness and ability to identify new opportunities.
Desirable:
- Experience in the water industry, especially in water/wastewater treatment plant upgrades.
