Job Opportunity: Contract Manager
Delighted to be partnering with this company, a business that prioritizes teamwork and delivery. Operating across the region, they design, install, and maintain systems for the Building Services sector and are now looking to expand their excellent existing team.
The role is for a Contract Manager, someone with drive and tenacity, capable of successfully delivering multiple projects while developing the business unit across Cornwall.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a small team of Engineers, working closely with the Senior Management Team
- Proactively manage Health & Safety
- Plan, manage, execute, and control projects
- Take sole responsibility for budget, programme, quality, supplier, and subcontractor management
- Participate in bid/tender processes
- Develop and maintain effective client relationships
- Handle full man management responsibilities
- Identify opportunities and secure a strong portfolio of projects
- Represent the business at networking events
Ideally, you'll have at least 5 years of experience in a Contract Manager or Project Manager role, having worked for a Building Services Contractor locally. Additionally, you should have:
- Educated to HNC/HND/Degree level in Mechanical discipline
- SMSTS and NEBOSH qualifications (preferred)
- Experience delivering projects as the Mechanical Contractor
- Successful experience dealing directly with clients and the public
- Ability to work on your own initiative; experience in winning work would be highly advantageous
