Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join our established Security and Waking Watch team. This role involves overseeing multiple Security and Waking Watch sites, ensuring service excellence, compliance, and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong problem-solving skills and contract management experience, preferably in security or construction. Flexibility is essential, with occasional weekend work and last-minute operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Portfolio Management

  • Oversee daily operations across multiple Security and Waking Watch sites, ensuring contractual obligations are met.

  • Conduct site visits, audits, and risk assessments to maintain safety and compliance.

Client Relationship Management

  • Act as the primary contact for security-related client concerns, ensuring high satisfaction levels.

  • Address issues proactively and maintain strong client relationships.

Team Leadership

  • Collaborate within an existing team to support and manage security operatives.

  • Ensure appropriate staff scheduling and contingency planning.

  • Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Operational Oversight

  • Implement efficient procedures to enhance safety, service quality, and operational performance.

  • Work with internal teams to streamline processes and resolve challenges.

Budget & Compliance Management

  • Manage site budgets, particularly for consumables and equipment, while ensuring cost-efficiency.

  • Ensure all operations comply with industry regulations, health & safety standards, and company policies.

  • Identify and mitigate risks to maintain a safe and secure environment.

Requirements

  • Contract Management experience, ideally in Security or Construction (other industries considered).

  • SIA Certification (mandatory).

  • Strong work ethic and flexibility - must be able to adapt to changing priorities, including weekend work and urgent operational needs.

  • Proven leadership experience in security contract management or a related field.

  • Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
