We are currently seeking a Commercial Contracts Manager for an exciting contract-to-hire opportunity in Orlando, FL.



Position Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for managing and negotiating customer contracts, with a focus on assessing risks, advising on mitigation strategies, and ensuring agreements are aligned with both legal requirements and market conditions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and legal/compliance departments to ensure internal standards are continuously updated in response to evolving regulations and emerging technologies within the energy sector.



Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor on legal matters, focusing on commercial and contract law, including intellectual property, procurement, product liability, and corporate law.

  • Analyze contract terms, identify risks, and offer proactive solutions to balance business needs with governance.

  • Drive process optimization and encourage lean principles to improve efficiencies within the legal department.

  • Foster a culture of ownership, transparency, empowerment, and inclusivity.

  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance legal and compliance understanding for key stakeholders.



What We re Looking For

  • Bachelor s degree in business, engineering, or a related field (J.D. preferred but not required).

  • 3-5 years of experience in contract management or corporate legal roles, particularly within the energy or technology sectors.

  • Proven experience managing complex contracts related to the sale of goods, services, software, digital solutions, and parts in the energy industry.

  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse teams.

  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and shifting requirements.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with all levels of stakeholders.

Pay Details: $35.00 to $40.00 per hour
