Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking seeking a highly experienced and strategic Contracts Manager to provide expert advisory and assistance services (A&AS) in support of a major defense program within the Space Systems Command (SSC). This role will be responsible for the full spectrum of contract management activities, including negotiation, administration, compliance, and the execution of acquisition strategies aimed at supporting SSC's critical mission in developing and sustaining cutting-edge space systems. Program Overview: In this effort, you will be a part of a specialized team supporting Government weapon systems program offices with systems acquisitions and program management support on various capability development programs that are intended to protect and defend the Nation's most valuable space assets. Our team is at the forefront of the advising and assisting the Government throughout the full lifecycle of systems acquisition processes that enable in most instances, rapid fielding to meet warfighter needs. Job Duties: Assist the client in executing source selections in accordance with FAR Coordinate functional meeting requests related to contractual matters. Develop comprehensive source selection documentation. Review and draft thorough proposal evaluations. Provide expert contract and subcontract management support throughout the contract lifecycle. Assist the client in the execution of various contracting actions, including advising on requests for proposals (RFPs) and technical evaluations. Provide authoritative contracts guidance and determinations to program stakeholders. Desired Skills: Bachelors degree and minimum of 7-10+ years of related experience, Masters Degree preferred. (CPCM), Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM), or DAWIA Level II/III Certification in Contracting preferred. Experience in contractual rights and obligations, risk avoidance and mitigation, strategy, and problem-solving, with a strong focus on negotiation techniques and skill in devising negotiation strategies. Must have at minimum, a Top-Secret Clearance, in-scope security background investigation (T5 or SSBI), adjudicated for SCI eligibility and/or enrolled in the Continuous Evaluation program (if applicable). Comprehensive working knowledge of Space Systems Command (SSC) contracting regulations and procurement procedures. Compensation: Salary Range: $150,000 - $210,000 ( compensation varies on position and relevant years of experience and education) Benefits: Cigna medical, dental, vision, 401k, 20 days paid time off, 11 federal holidays, and sick leave as required by law
