Major, Lindsey & Africa's Interim Legal Talent group is seeking on behalf of our corporate client a Contracts Manager and CLM/CMS Specialist (Ironclad). This is an interim opportunity with the possibility of conversion.
Overview: Contracts Manager & CLM/CMS Specialist (Ironclad)
Company: B2B Distribution of Electrical Products, Solutions and Related Services Company
Experience: Demonstrated substantial experience in contracts management, processes, contracts management systems. Previous high-level use of a CLM/CMS system (Ironclad required)
Location: Hybrid (Charleston, SC)
Responsibilities Include:
- Work on contract repository structuring, to include and implement newly developed playbooks and riders.
- Execute documents and contracts in Ironclad and liaise on Ironclad with the company's sixteen operating companies. i.e. be the company's "Ironclad Guru".
- Provide training and guidance on newly implemented playbooks and riders, Ironclad, and contracting processes. Ensure effective improvements in contracting processes across departments and regions.
- Address the challenges of a decentralized organization, organize existing contracts and improve accessibility.
- Support the business by drafting, reviewing, and managing contracts across multiple departments and regions.
Qualifications Include:
- Demonstrated experience (5-10+ years) and background in contracts management and systems
- Experience working with CLM (Contract Lifecycle Management) and CMS (Contract Management Systems), Ironclad required
- Experience with sophisticated, complex agreements, ideally in distribution or manufacturing
- Paralegal or BA
Desirable Skills:
- Prior experience training in-house employees on CLM/CMS and/or prior management experience of contracts administrators.
- Ability to relate to employees from the administrative level up to senior-level executives in various roles (sales, legal, management, etc.).
- Contracts Management experience in the distribution or manufacturing industries.
- Self-starter with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, shifting sands environment
- Diversity candidates preferred.
Pay: $50 to $75 per hour, depending on relevant experience, background, and qualifications.
