CJR Renewables is looking for Contracts Coordinator to join our team in Houston office. You will be responsible for supporting contract administration, procurement processes, and vendor pre-qualification efforts. This role involves managing compliance checks, expediting support, and administrative tasks related to contracts and procurement activities. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, proficient in enterprise software/tools, and capable of handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced EPC environment.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Pre-Qualification Process: Lead and assist in the vendor pre-qualification process, maintaining an updated Approved Vendor List.
- Contract Administration: Support the management of contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Procurement Support: Handle price requests, pricing approvals, and expediting functions as required.
- KPI and Data Management: Support in tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), collect relevant data, and support reporting efforts.
- Vendor & PO Administration: Support in the vendor documentation and purchase order (PO) administration.
- Compliance & Record-Keeping: Ensure all contract-related records are maintained and up to date, including contact lists.
- Collaboration & Coordination: Work closely with CJR's internal stakeholders and suppliers to support efficient project execution.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited program.
- Experience: 2-3 years of experience in expediting, contract administration, or procurement.
Technical Skills:
o Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
o Experience with enterprise software such as SAP, ARIBA, and Procore is preferred.
o Strong data management and organizational skills.
- Industry Experience: Prior experience in EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) is highly preferred.
Qualitative skills:
- Detail-Oriented: Ability to handle contract documentation and procurement details with precision.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong ability to track, analyze, and report key procurement and contract data.
- Collaboration & Communication: Effective team player with excellent communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.

- Problem-Solving: Capable of identifying challenges in procurement and contract administration and recommending solutions.
Preferred Qualitative skills:
- Understanding of compliance requirements and procurement processes in the renewables sector.
- Experience working in an EPC environment with cross-functional teams.
- Prior exposure to supplier/vendor management processes.
