Education
Bachelors with 2+ years of experience or a High School Diploma with 5 years of experience.

Excellent Sourcing experience.

• Comfortable in an assertive, entrepreneurial environment.

• Strong organizational skills

• Highly responsible, self-motivated, proactive, precise and detail-oriented.

• Eager to learn procurement processes and business skills to support the company's sourcing requirements

• Analytical abilities to evaluate budgets, compare supplier proposals, and analyze internal data.

• Experience with Ariba SOURCING

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word

• Previous experience in procurement (sourcing) jobs/roles a plus.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

• Experience in roles including but not limited to the pharmaceutical industry, clinical research or procurement/supply chain management, finance, project management

• Experience in category is strongly preferred

• Negotiation skills; ability to influence

• Contracting experience

• SAP/Ariba

Responsibilities:

Position Description:
The selected candidate will provide procurement support for department in areas including, but not limited to services . This includes analysis of procurement data such as internal budgets, supplier budgets, market and spend data.
This role works closely with internal stakeholders in MRL, Procurement, and Finance organizations to achieve cross-functional business objectives. The Sourcing Analyst is also responsible for certain aspects of contract execution and ongoing contract management. This role will report to manager to support sourcing initiatives and procurement category management.

Primary Activities:
Sourcing Management

• Assist in creating and executing RFIs (Request for information), RFPs (Request for Proposals), etc.

• Support negotiations with suppliers to achieve desired business outcomes.

Contract Negotiation, Execution and Management -

• Learn to negotiate contract terms and conditions.
prepare various contract documents for internal review, approval, signature, and filing.

Stakeholder and Category Support

• Appropriately escalate issues and concerns to procurement management and other functional areas such as Legal, Privacy, Compliance, etc.

• Support the development and implementation of the category strategies
