OPS Consulting is seeking an experienced Contractor Special Security Officer to work in Laurel, MD on government contractor site Required Skills: 10 years of relevant experience as a CSSO. Ability to support security requirements for 100+ person contract. Experience utilizing personnel control records systems. Experience with Security Databases. Experience reviewing requests for security clearances, interview candidates, and request investigations from appropriate organizations. Experience working as a prime, requesting adds, deletes, VARs, etc. Ability to maintain personnel records. Strong experience in SF86 process to include: review, identify errors/ omissions, open within NBIS, etc. Experience with various case types and has ability to know which paperwork is needed for submitting various case types to government client. Extensive experience using Excel for tracking spreadsheets. Ability to schedule and track full lifecycle security process to include but not limited to: polygraph dates, final clearance, setting indoc dates, automated debrief rebriefs, and ordering badges. Ability to draft DD-254s. Strong record-keeping skills is required. Ability to work independently and a part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment. Security Clearance: Eligibility to obtain a current government clearance, background investigation, and polygraph.
