Contractor Sales SpecialistLocation: Little Rock, AR / Bentonville, AR
Position Summary: We are seeking a motivated and dynamic
Contractor Sales Specialist to support inside sales and lead generation efforts. This role will focus on identifying new business opportunities, converting leads, supporting external sales teams, and maintaining strong relationships with contractors and distributors. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and driven to exceed customer expectations while contributing to overall sales growth.

- Identify and compile lists of prospective customers using various sources such as online directories, trade show contacts, web leads, past inquiries, and business databases.
- Proactively conduct outbound calls and send emails to potential and existing customers to qualify leads and promote products and services.
- Respond to inbound sales inquiries and convert them into active sales opportunities.
- Address and overcome technical or business objections from prospective clients.
- Highlight product features and benefits, provide pricing and credit terms, and prepare detailed sales orders.
- Estimate delivery timelines based on production and logistics schedules.
- Coordinate training sessions for new and existing customers.
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.
- Prepare and submit reports on business transactions, sales activity, and lead conversion.
- Maintain accurate customer data and input updates into CRM systems.
- Collaborate with outside sales representatives to align account activity and ensure consistent messaging.
- Assist territory managers in setting up displays and preparing for sales events.
- Attend regional trade shows and industry events as needed.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university, or 1-2 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), CRM platforms, and internet navigation tools.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to read, write, and speak Spanish fluently (required).
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed.
Physical Requirements / Work Environment: - Regularly required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds; occasionally up to 25 pounds.
- Must be able to sit or remain in a stationary position for extended periods.
- Frequent use of computer and standard office equipment; must be able to communicate effectively in person and via digital platforms.
- The work environment is generally quiet to moderate in noise level.
- Occasional extended work hours or travel may be required.
