Synertex LLC is seeking Contractor Information System Security Officers (ISSO) to support classified information systems at Buckley Space Force Base, Aurora, CO. This position will involve coordination and support across multiple locations. Clearance Required: Active TS/SCI Clearance RESPONSIBILITIES: Administer and maintain classified information systems, including TS networks such as GWAN, JWICS, VIAS, Blue/Red SIS, and the Defense Red Switch Network (DRSN) or equivalent. Perform system administration tasks including patch management, system updates, and ensuring secure configurations. Control and manage access to SCI systems, coordinating with SOC or OBAC to obtain accounts for mission-essential personnel. Oversee the receipt, inspection, approval, and documentation of all IT equipment entering or exiting the SCIF in accordance with DoDM 5105.21-M-1 and other relevant policies. Ensure all equipment is installed, configured, and removed in compliance with SCI regulations and TEMPEST policies. Evaluate and verify Information Assurance (IA) requirements are satisfied, ensuring systems operate at an acceptable level of risk from both physical and logical architecture perspectives. Maintain accurate logs, audit trails, and configuration documentation to support accreditation and ongoing system monitoring. Collaborate with cybersecurity personnel, system owners, and security staff to ensure continuous compliance with RMF, ICD 503, and related DoD and IC cybersecurity frameworks. Assist with incident response and vulnerability management, including mitigation and reporting procedures. REQUIREMENTS: 2-4 years of experience supporting classified networks and information systems in a DoD or Intelligence Community environment. Strong working knowledge of classified networks (e.g., JWICS, GWAN, VIAS, SIS, DRSN) and system administration principles. Familiarity with TEMPEST, SCI policies, and DoDM 5105.21-M-1 regulations. Experience with patching, system hardening, and security configuration baselines. Understanding of IA architecture, RMF, and system security risk assessments. Proficient with Microsoft and Linux operating systems and relevant cybersecurity tools. Excellent attention to detail, documentation, and communication skills. Must be a U.S. citizen.
