Contract Travel CT Technologist

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography (CT) scans and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process. This role requires a strong understanding of diagnostic radiology, anatomy, and medical imaging techniques, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
Perform CT scans on patients according to established protocols and procedures.
Ensure patient safety by following aseptic techniques and adhering to radiation safety guidelines.
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to provide accurate diagnostic information.
Maintain equipment functionality by conducting routine checks and reporting any malfunctions.
Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and addressing any concerns.
Document patient information accurately in medical records and imaging systems.
Assist in emergency medicine situations as required, particularly in a Level I Trauma Center setting.
Stay updated on advancements in medical imaging technology and practices.

Qualifications
Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program with a focus on CT imaging.
Certification in Diagnostic Radiology; additional certifications in Nuclear Medicine are a plus.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and diagnostic imaging techniques.
Experience working in an emergency medicine environment is preferred.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while maintaining professionalism.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
Commitment to providing compassionate care while ensuring patient comfort during procedures.

Pay: $2,556.00 - $2,880.00 per week
