Are you an experienced, California licensed, defense litigation (medical malpractice, personal injury and complex litigation) attorney interested in a full-time contract job opportunity with a law firm in Glendale, CA? We are looking for an excellent writer who is highly motivated and proactive with their caseload. This is an amazing opportunity for a self-starter who is looking for long term contract work. This opportunity is projected to be contract to hire for the right candidate, can be part or full time hours. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of Civil Litigation experience as a practicing attorney in the state of California.

  1. The successful candidate will have experience litigating in the defense side of medical malpractice, personal injury and complex litigation matters and highly prefer someone with medical malpractice litigation background.

  2. The ideal candidate will also have experience working on cases from start to finish, taking and defending depositions, law and motion, briefs, discovery disputes, and can meet and confer.

  3. JD required; must be licensed and in good standing in CA

  4. 3+ years of medical malpractice and/or general litigation experience

  5. Excellent oral advocacy and written communication skills

  6. Solid time management skills

  7. The is a non-exempt contract position. Hourly pay rate is $65.00-70.00 hourly depending on experience. Hybrid schedule, 3-4days on site and some remote, location in Glendale CA.

Pay Details: $65.00 to $70.00 per hour
