Contract Specialist/Pricing Analyst
Salary target: $85K, up to $105K possible if qualified candidate
Hybrid Remote in Alexandria, VA (1-2 days onsite) OR fully remote in San Antonio, TX area Seeking a Federal Contract Specialist/Pricing Analyst to join our team. The Federal Contract Specialist/Pricing Analyst will work closely with our Business Development team throughout the proposal process, from planning to labor rate calculations, cost spreadsheets, and post-award contract administration. To succeed in this role, you will need at least 2 years of experience in federal government contracting and experience building labor related pricing proposals. Duties to include: - Analyze proposed prices, forecast trends, and estimate service costs.
- Evaluate subcontractor bids and perform cost analysis.
- Develop pre-negotiation positions and support contract negotiations.
- Support Financial department with reports, budgets, and ROI analysis.
- Prepare and present pricing analysis findings to clients and senior leadership.
- Compile proposal package documentation for submission to customer.
- Administer, modify, and evaluate contract terms.
- Assist in administration of the Unanet Financial System
- Manage GSA contracts, assess DOL Wage Determination - Generate contract close-out actions.
- Identify contracting issues.
- Stay informed on pricing analysis methods and industry trends.
- Comply with all Agency policies and procedures and follow contract specifications.
- Assure a high level of quality in performance of all work.
- Perform other corporate assigned duties. Requirements
Bachelor's degree or 5+ years' experience in contracting
1+ years' experience in using a financial system (Unanet Financial System preferred)
1+ years in professional services managing federal government contracts
1+ years' experience in building FFP, CPFF and T&M related pricing proposals.
Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot tables and formulas
