We are in search of a dynamic and experienced Contract Recruiter to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in our company's growth and success. You will be responsible for identifying, attracting and hiring top talent to meet the strategic objectives of our organization. This position requires a highly motivated individual with a strong sense of initiative, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in recruiting within the construction industry.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract, screen, and hire high-quality applicants for positions within the construction industry.
- Manage the entire recruiting process including job posting, sourcing candidates, conducting phone screens, coordinating interviews, and facilitating the offer process.
- Utilize job boards, social media, and other technical means to source candidates for open jobs.
- Manage relationships with third-party recruitment agencies and ensure terms and conditions of agreements are met.
- Utilize applicant tracking system to track the progress of candidates through the recruitment process, maintain accurate documentation, and report on recruitment activity.
- Provide guidance and support to hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and use that knowledge to improve our recruitment strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or relevant field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a recruitment role, preferably within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems, job boards, and social media platforms for recruitment.
- Proven experience conducting various types of interviews (i.e., phone, video, etc.)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage the full recruitment lifecycle effectively.
- Knowledge of labor legislation and hands-on experience with various selection processes like phone interviews and reference checks.
- Exceptional ability to manage relationships with both internal and external parties.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
