For more information about DAWSON, please visit Job Summary: Join an elite mission supporting U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) in the Southern California region, where your leadership will drive excellence in building operations and maintenance across high-security federal facilities. As Contract Manager, you will be responsible for the performance, compliance, and strategic direction of this multifaceted government contract. You'll lead the operational execution across dozens of sites and hundreds of systems'ensuring customer satisfaction, quality assurance, and operational continuity in support of CBP's mission to secure our borders and ports of entry. Location: Southern California (San Diego/El Centro Region) Responsibilities: Serve as the primary point of contact for all matters related to the contract, including interface with Government stakeholders (CO, COR, Sector Representatives). Oversee performance of preventive maintenance, repair, and facilities management across over 200 federal buildings and campuses. Maintain real-time oversight of staffing, subcontractors, certifications, and safety compliance. Lead weekly progress meetings with CBP and produce associated reports and updates. Monitor contract deliverables and ensure all performance standards are met or exceeded, including use of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Manage escalated service requests and ensure resolution of urgent or emergency calls in compliance with PWS protocols. Maintain a complete personnel roster, track clearances, and enforce CBP background investigation (BI) requirements. Qualifications: Minimum 5 years experience in contract management for federal facilities maintenance contracts; 10 years preferred. Proven success managing multi-site operations with full accountability for personnel, subcontractors, budgets, and KPIs. Familiarity with OSHA, CFR, NFPA, and relevant federal/state codes related to building maintenance. Demonstrated experience with CMMS platforms (TRIRIGA or equivalent). Must be available within 1 hour during working hours and within 2 hours after hours for issue resolution. Additional Requirements: Must be eligible for CBP background investigation and suitability clearance. Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident with work authorization.
