Job Summary:

The Contract Management Supervisor will oversee a team of Contract Administrators and Technicians, ensuring the effective management of contract activities from pre-award to post-award phases. This role is responsible for contractor resourcing, interfacing with key stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with all contractual obligations. The supervisor plays a critical role in driving contract completion, resolving issues, and maintaining quality and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise a team of Contract Administrators and Technicians in the execution of pre-award and post-award contract management activities.
  • Coordinate with engineering, project, and client personnel to prepare Requests for Proposals (RFP), evaluate bids, and lead contract negotiations up to the award stage.
  • Manage all aspects of Post Award Contract Management, including contract compliance, progress generation, and schedule reporting.
  • Administer changes to contracts, including claims resolution and proactive engagement with contractors.
  • Generate and review daily and status reports, invoices, and other supporting documents to ensure timely delivery and accuracy.
  • Perform contract closeout, resolve outstanding contract issues, finalize final invoices, and conduct contractor performance evaluations.
  • Interface with internal and external management teams to support project contracting activities and ensure smooth communication.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 7 to 10 years of experience in contract management or a related field.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with email, Microsoft Office, and specialized contract management software or tools.
  • Requires US Citizenship.
  • DoD National Agency Check with Inquiries (SF85) Security background check required.

  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills to manage a team and provide guidance on contract processes.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to contract compliance and quality standards.
Preferred Experience:
  • Prior Military and/or Contingency Operations experience preferred
