Adams & Martin Group is working with a collegial boutique firm in Downtown Los Angeles looking for an experienced Litigation Attorney to come on board in a temp capacity, with the possibility of becoming a permanent employee. The firm will also consider those solely open to temporary engagement for a long-term/open-ended duration.
The firm is seeking someone with at least 3 years of civil litigation experience. Any experience with public entity defense is highly preferred, however firm is open to any backgrounds handling liability or employment defense. This attorney will work with firm&s practice teams assisting with discovery, law and motion, as well as depo and trial preparation. The attorney may accompany to appearance but will not serve as attorney of record or handle appearances themselves.
The office bolsters a great work/life balance and team oriented attitude. They are looking for someone who can be onsite Full time as part of the firm&s mission to keep the teams connected. Possible flexibility to occasional remote work may be authorized.
Requirements:
- barred and in good standing with the state of California to practice law.
- 3+ years of defense side litigation experience - any exposure representing public entities/agencies highly desired.
- ability to work onsite at firm&s offices in Downtown LA.
