Job Description:

LSI requires a candidate for Contracts Administrator who will demonstrate leadership and knowledge of contracts administration in the Federal Services industry. The Contracts Administrator reports to the VP of Finance and works closely with Senior Managers and Executives in the administration of a variety of prime and subcontracts, including GSA Schedules, GWACs, Cost Plus, Firm Fixed Price, and Time and Materials.The Contracts Administrator works with Capture Managers on pre-award contractual actions including review and negotiation of non-disclosure agreements and teaming agreements., and preparing pricing, basis of estimates, and business volumes for proposals. The candidate will also administer associated subcontracts, consulting agreements, and procurement actions.

Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and execution of all administrative aspects of LSI's contracts.
  • Participates in the development, negotiation, and executing of assigned NDAs, TAs, Subcontracts, and other related agreements in accordance with client requirements and LSI policies and procedures
  • Initiates and maintains a network of communication with LSI internal stakeholders as well as external suppliers
  • Provide contractual guidance when reviewing Government Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
  • Analyze significant, and/or unique contract requirements, special provisions, terms and conditions to support business goals and objectives, and well as to ensure the appropriate laws, regulations, and corporate policies are adhered to.
  • Advise senior management on strategies to mitigate or eliminate risk arising under these agreements.
  • Contractual interface with Government Contracting Officers and prime contractor Administrators.
  • Review of contracts, contract brief and contract kick-off meeting slides for the technical and business staff so roles, responsibilities, and deliverables are clearly defined.
  • Maintain all electronic contract files in accordance with company contract management and administrative policies and procedures
  • Facilitate close-out of all company inactive contracts and subcontracts.
Requirements:
  • At least 1-2 years progressive, professional experience as an employee to federal contractors
  • Perform cradle-to-grave contracts and subcontracts administration.
  • Knowledge of and experience working with the Federal Acquisition Regulations,Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement, General Services Administration Acquisition Manual.
  • Independent judgment and analysis of issue identification and resolution.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments concurrently and efficiently
  • Ability to lead process improvement initiatives for LSI Contracts
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
Education and Certifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • US Citizen
