This is a part time position working up to 20 hours/week. Qualifications - High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum one (1) year experience in administrative work, revenue handling, accounting/bookkeeping, or related field.
- Depending on area of assignment, must possess a valid state driver's license upon hire and obtain a valid Florida driver's license within thirty (30) days of hire or promotion.
Key Responsibilities: - Under the general supervision of a designated Supervisor, performs routine administrative functions for the City.
- Ability to perform work of a clerical nature in typing documents, processing account payments and information, researching information, maintaining electronic filing systems, and answering phones.
- Employees in this class are responsible for customer contact and conflict resolution via telephone, in person, through correspondence, tracking, dispatching, following up and resolving inquiries/complaints via telephone or Internet.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and usually performs such independently with periodic supervision or review.
- Knowledge of modern office practices and procedures.
