Content Strategist & Producer (Part-Time or Fractional)
Location: Primarily remote, with weekly in-office content capture in Los Angeles and occasional travel for destination events
Reports to: Founder & Creative Director
Overview:
We're looking for a strategic, creative, and highly organized Content Strategist & Producer to lead and execute our content across platforms including multiple Instagram accounts, TikTok, LinkedIn, Substack, Blog, Newsletter, and Podcast. This role combines big-picture planning with hands-on implementation. You'll not only shape the content strategy but also bring it to life. This is a role for someone who doesn't need day-to-day guidance. You're comfortable taking initiative, thinking strategically, and moving projects forward independently while staying closely aligned with the vision and values of the brand.
What You'll Do:
Strategy & Planning
- Develop a multi-platform content strategy that reflects both the business and founder's personal brand
- Create and manage 90-day content calendars across multiple IG accounts (business and personal), TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Substack, Blog, Podcast, and newsletter
- Lead campaign ideation and platform-specific planning tied to business goals (engagement, growth, and visibility)
Execution & Production
- Capture, conceptualize, and edit posts, captions, newsletters, blog articles, and podcast show notes
- Film and produce short-form videos (e.g., Reels, TikToks), including scripting, shooting, and basic editing
- Schedule and publish content across platforms using tools like Later, Planoly, or native schedulers
- Maintain backend content systems to keep calendars, drafts, and creative assets organized
Optimization & Growth
- Track content performance and offer insights to optimize across platforms
- Maintain awareness of platform trends without compromising brand alignment
- Ensure all content supports SEO, audience growth, and thought leadership positioning
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3-5+ years of experience in content strategy, marketing, or editorial ideally with lifestyle, creative, or founder-led brands
- Highly self-motivated and thrive when trusted to take ownership
- Ability to translate long-form content (like a podcast or blog post) into a week's worth of multi-platform content
- Ability to think like both a marketer and a creative always asking what will resonate and what will convert
- Understand the weddings, hospitality, or lifestyle space
- Basic design or video editing skills
