Big Bird, a niche digital agency specializing in golf-themed creative solutions, is seeking a Content Strategist to support our Managing Director in developing, crafting, and pitching campaign strategies for our clients. The ideal candidate has a passion for storytelling, a deep understanding of digital marketing, and a strong grasp of the golf industry. This role requires creativity, strategic thinking, and the ability to translate brand goals into compelling content strategies that drive engagement and results

This hybrid role is available near any of the Big Bird office hubs: Los Angeles, Dallas, Nashville, or Atlanta.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of content strategies tailored to golf-related brands, ensuring alignment with business objectives and audience insights
- Develop initial framework for new business and client pitches clearly articulating the rationale behind proposed strategies and creative while integrating market and competitor insights
- Collaborate closely with the Managing Director to fine tune and pitch creative campaign concepts to clients, supporting strategic storytelling with research and industry insights
- Develop and maintain brand messaging guidelines, ensuring consistency across digital marketing, production, and event activations
- Research and analyze industry trends, audience behavior, and competitive landscapes to inform creative and content decisions
- Work with designers, copywriters, and production teams to bring content strategies to life across various platforms (social media, email, web, etc.)
- Manage the creative direction of all planned and ad hoc content pieces from on-site to final client delivery, with a keen eye for ways in which scope can be expanded utilizing on-site opportunities
- Track, evaluate and report campaign performance, using data-driven insights to refine future content strategies
- Maintain strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact for content-related discussions and recommendations
Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience in content strategy, digital marketing, or brand storytelling-agency experience preferred
- A strong understanding of the golf industry, including its culture, trends, and key players
- Exceptional writing, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to develop compelling creative narratives that align with brand goals and audience needs
- Experience working cross-functionally with creative teams, designers, and strategists to execute campaigns
- Proficiency in content planning, campaign development, and performance analysis
- Comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced agency environment
