Job Summary
American Data Network (ADN) is seeking a versatile and strategic Content Marketing Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for a creative marketing professional with strong digital skills, a knack for storytelling, and an eye for data-driven results. You'll contribute to a variety of marketing initiatives that help position ADN as a trusted partner in healthcare quality and patient safety.
You'll work across content creation, keyword research, video editing, and platform management (HubSpot, WordPress), while collaborating with internal teams and freelance writers. The ideal candidate is equal parts strategist and doer, comfortable juggling multiple projects, channels, and formats.
Key Responsibilities
Content & Campaign Management
- Develop, assign, and edit content across formats: blogs, landing pages, white papers, case studies, emails, and video scripts
- Collaborate with freelance writers and subject matter experts to ensure high-quality, on-brand content
- Build relationships with external organizations (e.g., The Joint Commission, AHRQ, NAHQ) to explore guest post and content-sharing opportunities
- Manage and update website content using WordPress
Digital Marketing & SEO
- Conduct keyword research and optimize content using tools like SEMRush
- Use HubSpot to manage email campaigns, automation workflows, and content performance analytics
- Support on-page SEO efforts and make data-informed recommendations to improve organic reach
- Produce and edit short-form videos for marketing campaigns, social media, or internal communications
Project & Performance Oversight
- Maintain the editorial calendar and align content with campaign and company goals
- Track content performance using analytics and adjust strategy based on insights
- Stay informed on healthcare industry trends to help shape ADN's thought leadership
Qualifications
Required:
- 3-5 years in content marketing, digital marketing, or a related role
- Strong writing/editing skills and the ability to tailor messaging for different audiences
- Proficiency in WordPress and working knowledge of HubSpot
- Experience assigning and managing freelance content contributors
- Solid grasp of SEO best practices and experience with SEMRush or similar tools
- Basic video editing skills using tools like Adobe Premiere or iMovie
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Preferred:
- Background in healthcare or healthcare marketing
- Experience developing content partnerships or syndication opportunities
- Familiarity with Google Analytics and Google Search Console
- Understanding of paid media or social media ad strategy
