Content & Learning Design Specialist (Part-time 20 hours per week)
You are a creative and strategic Content & Learning Design Specialist to design engaging learning experiences that empower teams to build better habits and collaborate more effectively. In this role, you'll synthesize research and expert input to produce impactful content across various formats, aligning with strategic goals and learner needs. You'll own projects end-to-end while collaborating across functions to continuously improve educational materials and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Location: Remote (US Pacific)
This position pays: $68.00 to $70.00 per hour
What you will be doing:
- Design engaging learning content such as writing, infographics, microlearning, whiteboards, and interactive activities
- Lead projects from concept through delivery, ensuring on-time execution and cross-functional coordination
- Apply instructional design methodologies to align content with business and learner objectives
- Collaborate with researchers and stakeholders to collect insights and feedback
- Continuously improve learning experiences by iterating on learner feedback and performance data
What you bring:
- 5-7 years of experience in content design, learning design, instructional design, or related field
- Strong project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and shift priorities as needed
- Proven ability to craft learning experiences that drive behavior change and skill development
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills; consultative and adaptive mindset
- Comfortable working independently and proactively in fast-paced environments
- Proficiency with content and design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Rise360); experience with Atlassian tools and generative AI is a plus
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent training in a relevant field
