The Content & Paid Media Specialist supports Melton's growing marketing initiatives by creating engaging content and executing paid digital campaigns across platforms like Meta, Google, and LinkedIn. This role combines video production skills with campaign management to drive brand awareness, thought leadership, and lead generation - particularly within B2B, recruitment, and brand marketing efforts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Other duties as assigned.
- Capture and edit video content, including repurposing long-form footage into short-form clips for digital use
- Manage the setup, launch, and day-to-day performance monitoring of paid ad campaigns on Meta, Google, and LinkedIn, while learning and applying best practices to improve results
- Track and analyze campaign performance data to identify trends, improve creative, and support data-driven decisions
- Stay in regular contact with platform reps to explore new features, tools, and performance insights
- Manage and grow company's YouTube channel, including content creation, performance reporting, and ongoing channel maintenance
- Interview internal team members and produce short-form videos like testimonials, spotlights, and story-driven content
- Support the planning and execution of multi-channel campaigns for Sales, Recruiting, and Melton Logistics
- Maintain and organize creative assets, content libraries, and shared folders
- Stay up to date on platform updates, advertising trends, and performance benchmarks to support campaign growth
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure content and campaigns align with business goals and brand voice
- Adapt creative assets to meet platform specs and ensure quality control across all paid channels
- Manage company's novelties program by designing branded products, maintaining vendor relationships, receiving quotes, implementing feedback, and ordering.
- Capture and create media for company functions such as Monthly Celebrations, Driver Appreciation, monthly and annual celebrations, and other company events.
Education and/or Experience: A degree in marketing, communications, digital media, or related field preferred. Internship or equivalent hands-on experience in digital marketing, advertising, social media, or video production is highly beneficial.
Special Training: Must have working knowledge or willingness to learn:
- Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager
- Adobe Creative Suite (especially Premiere Pro)
- Project and file management tools
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Canva and/or basic graphic editing tools
Special Skills: - Strong video production skills (filming, editing, exporting, distribution) and content creation abilities
- Foundational understanding of digital advertising and campaign strategy
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to shifting priorities
- Collaborative, confident, and comfortable working cross-functionally with other departments
- Growth mindset with an interest in expanding skills in marketing strategy and analytics
- Regular onsite job attendance is required to facilitate effective media project management.
