Job Title: Contact Center Sales Inbound/Outbound II
Job Description
We are seeking phone agents to handle outbound prospective customer leads through our dialer system. The primary role involves screening prospective customers to gauge their interest in speaking to a licensed agent for either reviewing an existing quote or providing a new quote. Agents will then transfer interested customers via warm transfer to our licensed agents. We will monitor transfer rates and the bind rate on transferred leads to ensure the quality of the screening and transferred leads.
Responsibilities
- Handle outbound prospective customer leads through the dialer system.
- Screen prospective customers for interest in speaking to a licensed agent.
- Review existing quotes or provide new quotes as necessary.
- Warm transfer interested customers to licensed agents.
- Maintain a high transfer rate and ensure quality of screened and transferred leads.
Essential Skills
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Time management skills.
- Customer service and/or sales phone experience (1-2 years in a call center or similar role).
- Satisfactory computer and typing skills.
- Must have a PC.
- High School Diploma.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Positive attitude.
- Good communication skills.
- Willingness to help peers.
- Insurance experience is a plus but not required.
Work Environment
This is a fully remote position. Candidates must have an appropriate place to work free of distractions. Candidates will have a set schedule with a 40-hour work week. Different schedules are available, which could fall between Monday through Friday from 7am to 7pm CST, or a Tuesday to Saturday shift from 9am to 5pm CST. If interested in working Saturdays, candidates will have Sunday off and can choose any other weekday off during the week. Core hours needed during the traditional work week are 9:00am to 5:30pm CST.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
