I. Job Description Summary
We are looking for a qualified Consultant/Project manager to join our team. As a Consultant/Project Manager, you will be responsible for helping our clients improve their operations and support their business by providing business solutions including ERP software and IT infrastructure.
In addition, you will help manage projects on behalf of the client's business when it lacks in-house skills and resources.
II. Job Responsibilities and Duties
Essential Functions
- Perform initial assessments for each client before the project begins
- Analyze client business requirements and propose optimal IT and business solutions
- Design and manage projects to meet requirements, including expectations, scope, risk, resources
- Collaborate with project team(s) in the development and implementation of assigned projects
- Develop & maintain project documentation
- Communicate and liaison with Client, Partner and Internal Organization members to ensure project progress
- Manage multiple projects at a time
- Report status to upper manager
- Participate in Calsoft mandatory training
Supporting Functions
Team
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve team goals.
- Contribute to improvement of services, revenue/profitability, methodologies and procedures
Company and Clients
- Understand and incorporate Calsoft values, mission, guidelines and policies (as described in Employee Handbook and other Calsoft documents) into daily work.
- Build and nurture positive working relationships with clients, co-workers and business associates.
III. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Minimum Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information or equivalent
- 3 years of experience in Information management and systems environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively with other members of the organization
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Ability to identify, understand and communicate business needs for technical projects
- Business level Japanese language skills
- Business level English language skills
Desirable Qualifications
- Strong analytical background
- Logical thinking, organization and planning skills
- Good knowledge of business processes
- Familiarity with accounting, operation and/or manufacturing business processes
- Familiarity with ERP software and business applications (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics etc)

- Travel to other regions as required by projects
