New Frontier is a financial services firm specializing in investment portfolio optimization and investment management technology. As an ETF strategist, we provide model portfolios and custom portfolio solutions to financial advisors, primarily distributing through TAMPs and direct advisor relationships. As we continue to grow, we seek a dedicated Internal Client Relationship Consultant to strengthen advisor relationships, enhance client engagement, and support the firm's broader distribution efforts.
Position Summary
The Internal Client Relationship Consultant is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with financial advisors and institutional partners. This role focuses on client engagement, education, and retention rather than direct sales, working closely with external sales professionals to support advisors and ensure they fully utilize New Frontier's investment solutions. The ideal candidate has experience in financial services supporting and servicing advisors, along with formal training in client relationship management and sales support.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management & Engagement:
- Develop and nurture relationships with financial advisors to enhance loyalty and business retention.
- Serve as a key point of contact for advisors, ensuring they receive timely support, insights, and updates on investment solutions.
- Conduct educational sessions, webinars, and one-on-one discussions to help advisors understand and implement New Frontier's investment solutions effectively.
- Identify opportunities to deepen relationships by providing proactive client service and strategic guidance tailored to advisors' needs.
Support for External Sales & Business Development:
- Partner with External Consultants to manage the sales pipeline and ensure seamless follow-ups on client needs.
- Assist in onboarding new advisors, providing guidance on available solutions and resources.
- Support advisors in navigating investment platforms and understanding the advantages of New Frontier's offerings.
- Collaborate with the marketing and sales team to refine messaging and engagement strategies based on client feedback.
Industry & Product Expertise
- Develop in-depth knowledge of New Frontier's investment strategies, model portfolios, and technology to effectively communicate their benefits to clients.
- Stay informed about industry trends, advisor needs, and platform developments to provide valuable insights and recommendations.
- Provide feedback to internal teams regarding client preferences, challenges, and opportunities to enhance the firm's offerings.
Qualifications & Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in financial services, preferably in client relationship management, advisor support, or sales support roles.
- Background in supporting and servicing financial advisors through TAMPs, RIAs, or institutional platforms.
- Strong understanding of investment products, portfolio management, and advisor needs.
- Ability to communicate sophisticated investment strategies in a clear and engaging manner.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field preferred.
- Formal training in client relationship management and sales support is preferred.
- Proficiency with CRM tools (HubSpot or similar) and Microsoft Office.
Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $80,000 - $95,000 (based on experience)
Bonus: 10-35% Performance-based bonus potential
Total Compensation Range: $105,000 - $125,000+ (OTE, depending on performance)
