Your Career
As a key member of our Professional Services team, the Consultant for Professional Services will play an essential role in delivering expertise in deployment and configuration of Palo Alto Networks solutions. This hands-on position demands a deep understanding of our products as you interact with customers' teams, providing technical guidance and leadership. You will be instrumental in helping clients secure their digital environments through effective implementation and integration.

Your Impact
  • Lead the migration of clients from outdated firewall technologies to cutting-edge Palo Alto Networks platforms.
  • Develop customized security policies and application signatures tailored to client specifications.
  • Maintain and enhance your knowledge of advanced features within Palo Alto Networks products.
  • Provide essential after-hours support as needed to keep maintenance activities on track.
  • Analyze logs and events to troubleshoot issues effectively.
  • Collaborate with our Technical Assistance Center to resolve support cases.
  • Guide clients in maintaining their solutions and implement best practices for code upgrades.
  • Ensure timely delivery of project milestones while meeting client needs.
Your Experience
  • Proven experience in network and security solutions management in large environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with networking, including routing, IP, NAT, IPSEC VPNs, and their interaction with applications.
  • Hands-on experience with high-end firewall appliances, particularly with Palo Alto Networks products.
  • Certification in industry-recognized programs such as CISSP, CCNA, JNCIE-SEC, or PCNSE is preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects effectively and maintain composure under pressure.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for engaging technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with IDS/IPS solutions and a background in internet protocols and security threats.
  • Deep knowledge of TCP/IP networking and internetworking technologies.
The Team
Our professional services team is fundamental to our mission and your role will involve ensuring ongoing client success post-sale. As threats evolve, you will implement new products, transition clients from old to new technologies, and proactively identify and resolve integration challenges.

Compensation Disclosure
Compensation for this role will vary based on experience and qualifications, with a current range of $126,000 - $189,000 per year. Additional compensation may include stock options and bonuses.
