Department: Construction / Operations Location: usa Salary: open Reports To: Site Supervisor / Construction Manager Job Overview: As a Construction Worker, you will be pivotal in building and maintaining structures, working closely with a team to ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely. This hands-on position involves various tasks, from operating machinery to assisting Key Responsibilities: Assist in building structures for residential, business, and construction sites. Participate in demolitions, excavations, and building operations. Operate and care for construction equipment and machines. Help equipment operators, carpenters, and other skilled labor when necessary. Prep construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards. Load or unload construction materials. Put together and take apart scaffolding, temporary structures, etc. Follow instructions from supervisors and implement construction plans. Assist craft workers, including carpenters, plasterers, electricians, and painters, as needed. Perform site clean-up. Qualifications: High school diploma/GED preferred. Experience in construction or related field preferred. Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks. Ability to work in all weather conditions. Workers must be punctual and reliable. Must have experience with power tools and other construction equipment. Knowledge of basic construction principles and methods. Able to work in a team environment with minimum supervision. Good communication skills and attention to detail. Work Environment: The role operates primarily on active construction sites, working outdoors in various weather conditions and navigating a fast-paced, ever-changing work setting. Physical Requirements: This role demands significant physical labor including lifting, standing, climbing, and maneuvering through construction sites, requiring good physical fitness and endurance.
