Description

My client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Superintendent to join their team based out of Springfield, VA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write and manage project schedules, including 3-week look-ahead schedules.
  • Coordinate and oversee subcontractors to ensure work is completed on time and to quality standards.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior management.
  • Assist in the management of project budgets and resources.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Facilitate communication between project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers.
  • Utilize Procore for project management and documentation.
  • Support the Project Superintendent in daily operations and decision-making.

Profile


  • 4+ years of experience in residential construction.
  • Proficiency in Procore software.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
  • Experience in large multi-family projects.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience working with both large general contractors and smaller firms is a plus.
