Description
My client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Superintendent to join their team based out of Springfield, VA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write and manage project schedules, including 3-week look-ahead schedules.
- Coordinate and oversee subcontractors to ensure work is completed on time and to quality standards.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior management.
- Assist in the management of project budgets and resources.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Facilitate communication between project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers.
- Utilize Procore for project management and documentation.
- Support the Project Superintendent in daily operations and decision-making.
Profile
- 4+ years of experience in residential construction.
- Proficiency in Procore software.
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
- Experience in large multi-family projects.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Experience working with both large general contractors and smaller firms is a plus.
