ITS is working with a rapidly growing construction firm that is looking for a skilled Construction Superintendent to join their team. This position plays a critical role in managing on-site operations, ensuring the quality and safety of construction activities, and leading teams to successful project completion.
Position Overview: The Construction Superintendent is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the job site including labor, materials, equipment, and site conditions to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, safely, and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities: -
Hands-on site leadership: Actively work on-site and assist with tools and equipment as needed.

Communication: Serve as the primary liaison between owners, architects, subcontractors, vendors, and local communities.

Crew and subcontractor oversight: Coordinate daily work activities, manage subcontractors, and ensure material and equipment availability for seamless operations.

Collaborative work: Partner with other prime contractors and third-party testing agencies to align project efforts.

Project planning: Interpret and understand project plans, specifications, and contract documents to develop detailed work schedules and plans.

Field management: Address and resolve on-site challenges, identify cost-saving opportunities, and accurately allocate job costs.

Progress tracking: Document and report project status updates, adjust schedules as necessary, and maintain project timelines.

Documentation and inventory: Keep project records current, monitor material usage, and track on-site inventory and conditions.
Job Site Safety: -
Training: Must complete OSHA 30-hour safety certification.

Enforcement: Maintain strict adherence to all safety protocols and ensure team compliance.

Site cleanliness: Oversee job site housekeeping to maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment.
Qualifications: -
2 4 years of construction supervision experience.

Strong understanding of supervisory practices and construction principles.

Comfortable using various construction tools and equipment.

OSHA 30-hour certification is required.
