Description

My client is seeking a seasoned Superintendent with substantial experience in the construction industry, particularly in large scale multi-family projects $50M+.

  • Responsible for the overall leadership of daily on-site activities for large-scale multi-family projects. Project values will range from $50M - $200M+
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth project execution and resolve any issues that arise
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards, maintaining a safe and clean job site
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality of work, and adherence to project specifications
  • Lead and mentor on-site construction teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any concerns
  • Review and approve project plans, blueprints, and specifications, ensuring accuracy and feasibility


Profile

  • 5+ years of experience in the construction industry
  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction, or a related field (preferred)
  • Extensive experience in large scale multi-family projects
  • Proven ability to manage one or more projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and within-budget completion
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to foster a collaborative and productive work environment
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and compliance on the job site
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, Procore, Bluebeam, and an understanding of Primavera is preferred
  • OSHA 30, First Aid, CPR Certifications strongly preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide clear updates to stakeholders
  • Proactive and ambitious, with a strong desire to grow within the company and take on leadership roles
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • High level of integrity and professionalism, with a strong work ethic
