The California Resources Corporation Production Operations team is seeking to fill the role of Rotating Equipment Supervisor. This position is based out of our Tupman, CA location.

The base annual salary for this posted position is reasonably expected to range from $170K to $205K, with a target annual bonus of 20% of base salary and eligibility to participate in our long-term incentive program. Individual pay decisions are based on several factors, including education, experience level and relevant industry experience.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the protection of health, safety, and the environment, comply with applicable state, federal, and local regulations, and enforce CRC policy and standards

• Support field managers and supervisors in maintaining safe and stable production

• Lead a team consisting of coordinators and mechanics to optimize the preventative and corrective maintenance of CRC's rotating equipment

• Establish a culture of continuous improvement with a focus on failure analysis and KPI conformance

• Establish KPIs for measuring, assessing, and improving the health of CRCs inventory of pumps and compressors

• Improve reliability of critical compressors and pumps

• Optimize gas compression relative to changing volumes

• Responsible for maintaining surface artificial lift systems such as rod pumping units and jet pump skids

• Prioritize work on basis of economic return and regulatory compliance

Required Skills

Required Experience

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum HS Diploma/GED

• 7+ years of oilfield operations and/or maintenance experience

• Knowledgeable of principles of incompressible and compressible fluids

• Fundamental knowledge of different types of compressors such as PD, screw,
rotary vane

• Fundamental knowledge of different types of liquid pumps such as reciprocating
PD, centrifugal, and PCPs

Preferred Qualifications:

• Engineering degree or experience as a mechanic or similar

• Prior leadership experience

• Proficient in understanding process flow diagrams, P&IDs, and other common
engineering drawings and references

• Knowledge of vibration analysis
