Perini Management Services, Inc. is seeking a Construction Quality Control Manager interested and capable of managing the Construction Quality Control Program for our historic renovation project at Alcatraz.

Description:
  • Implement and maintain the approved Contractor Quality Control Plan including responsibility for all required preparatory meetings, initial inspections and follow up inspections.
  • Develop understanding/working knowledge of company quality control program, company standards, procedures, codes, etc. required to perform assigned work.
  • Review, comment upon and control design and product submittal process.
  • Plan, schedule and run Preparatory Meetings.
  • Perform quality control inspections and witness tests to determine acceptability of work.
  • Schedule and coordinate QA inspectors with Owner's Rep.
  • Assist in maintaining work performance records, inspection records and other related items; assure correctness of all documents.
  • Assist in preparation/implementation of quality control procedures, i.e., inspection instructions, control measuring and test equipment, etc.
  • Participate in internal/external quality control audits.
  • Assist in reviewing purchase documents to ensure compliance with quality control requirements.
  • Inspect and inventory material shipments for compliance.
  • Ensure progress by proactively addressing Q.C. issues.
Requirements:
  • Experience with QC/QA on Construction Projects.
  • Five (5) years construction experience as QC Manager, Project Supervision or Management.
  • USACE CQM certification.
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer.
  • Temporary relocation to San Francisco Bay Area required.
  • Alternative qualifications may be considered for candidates with:
    • Experience with NPS Projects and/or other Federal Government Clients.
    • Experience on Historical Renovation Projects and/or Renovation of Active Facilities.
    • Expertise in Structural and Architectural Concrete Repairs.
