Construction Project Manager - Restaurant Group

$90,000 - $100,000 + Bonus

The Construction Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the construction process for the company's development projects. Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with vendors, architects, engineers, and consultants to define project scope, establish design, and obtain necessary permits
  • Conduct site surveys with consultants as needed and provide detailed survey reports
  • Prepare bid packages, manage the bidding process, and select qualified contractors
  • Perform due diligence and coordinate insurance requirements and utility service setup
  • Manage the submission and tracking of plans through government agencies for approval
  • Oversee the full construction process to ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
  • Coordinate and communicate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain workflow and resolve on-site issues
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential delays or challenges, and implement corrective actions
  • Organize and oversee final inspections, secure all necessary approvals, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
  • Manage project handover, ensure completion of all closeout documentation, and confirm client satisfaction

Qualifications / Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience in project management, specifically within construction development
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field strongly preferred
  • Prior experience in restaurant construction development is required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and skilled in reading, analyzing, and interpreting construction documents, including blueprints
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Strong leadership and teamwork abilities; able to perform under pressure, adapt to challenges, and consistently meet deadlines
  • Proven ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams of contractors, subcontractors, and consultants
