Our client is looking for a Construction Project Manager - New Jersey / office based. This role will offer long term development and provide the successful candidate with exposure to both ground up and interior renovation construction within light industrial and life science sectors

Client Details

Mid-Sized Design/Build General Contractor in business over 30 years in New Jersey. A company that values their employees and a work/life balance. As they grow they are looking to add a Project Manager to their team.

Description

The Construction Project Manager - New Jersey should have:

  • Minimum of five (5) year's experience managing multiple life science or industrial projects
  • Preparation and maintenance of project schedules including comprehensive sequencing of construction activities
  • Submit, track, and issue responses to RFI's. Submittal review and processing, tracking, and reporting
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Must have the ability to direct complex projects from concept to fully operational status.
  • Computer Skills Required: Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to create material take-offs.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Marketing and presentation skills.
  • Should be highly organized, highly motivated and a detail directed problem solver.
  • College degree in a construction/engineering field preferred, but not required.

Profile

The successful Construction Project Manager - New Jersey candidate will have:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Construction Management, Civil or Mechanical preferred
  • 5 to 15 years' experience as a Project Manager required
  • Exceptional software skills (Primavera P6 / MS Project / Sage 300 CRE / Microsoft Office
  • OSHA Certified
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Professional conduct essential

Job Offer
