Position Summary:

Seeking an experienced Construction Industrial Project Engineer to join a dynamic and highly collaborative project team. This role will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless execution of a high-profile industrial project. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and possesses strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with subcontractors, vendors, and field teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Construction Documentation Expertise: Interpret and manage construction drawings, specifications, RFIs, and submittals.
  • Material & Procurement Coordination: Oversee material tracking, procurement, and inventory management to ensure timely availability of resources.
  • Site Administration & Reporting: Maintain documentation related to field progress, change orders, and back charges.
  • Vendor & Subcontractor Management: Work closely with vendors and subcontractors to streamline operations and maintain project schedules.
  • Logistics & Coordination: Organize shipments and coordinate project logistics effectively.
  • Field Communication & Safety Oversight: Participate in or lead safety meetings and jobsite audits, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory safety protocols.
  • ERP & Software Utilization: Utilize eCMS ERP for project tracking and administration.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 4-5+ years of experience in construction project engineering or management.
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and field processes.
  • Proficiency with shop drawing and submittal workflows.
  • Experience with material tracking, procurement, and vendor coordination.
  • Excellent organizational skills to handle logistics, shipments, and reporting.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with field staff, owners, and engineers.
  • Ability to work closely with subcontractors, vendors, and field teams to ensure seamless project execution.
