As a Project Engineer, you'll work directly with the Project Manager and Superintendent to help ensure the job runs efficiently from preconstruction through close-out.
Description
Responsibilities for the Construction Project Engineer- Ground Up role in Irvine:
Assist in project planning, coordination, and execution from start to finish
Manage RFIs, submittals, and document control using project management software
Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to maintain schedule and quality
Track procurement, materials, and submittals
Support the field team with day-to-day operations and problem-solving
Maintain detailed project records and ensure compliance with company standards
Help prepare and monitor project schedules and budgets
Profile
A successful Construction Project Engineer- Ground Up
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
1+ years of experience in commercial building and construction; ground-up experience preferred
Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong organisational and communication skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Must be local to or willing to relocate to the Los Angeles area
