Job Title: Field Performance Advisor (FPA)

Location: Within 50 miles of Ft. Wayne, Indiana

Business Rate: $47/hr.

Job Type: Contract


Job Summary:

Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Performance Advisor (FPA) to oversee and enhance the performance of our construction suppliers. This role requires direct engagement with market suppliers, focusing on site performance, construction quality, and adherence to safety standards. The FPA will provide real-time feedback, identify performance gaps, and work collaboratively with suppliers and internal teams to implement improvements. This role is crucial in maintaining efficiency, safety, and quality in cellular site construction projects, primarily for AT&T but also for other carriers.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze site performance metrics, including cycle time, closeout package accuracy, job hazard assessment compliance, tool utilization, and build quality.
  • Conduct on-site visits to evaluate supplier performance, perform root-cause analysis, and provide real-time feedback.
  • Collaborate with market suppliers to drive improvements in efficiency, quality, and safety.
  • Support Ericsson's Senior Construction Managers and Project Management teams by validating construction drawings, troubleshooting issues, and assisting with customer meetings.
  • Develop and implement process improvements for supplier site construction, working with the Ericsson Automation team to optimize tool efficiency.
  • Monitor supplier compliance with Ericsson and customer safety and quality standards.
  • Provide performance data and insights to support Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and recommend improvements based on field findings.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with market suppliers to foster continuous improvement and two-way feedback.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 7+ years of experience in telecommunications or related construction.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong expertise in cellular site construction, crew management, and supplier coordination.
  • Knowledge of general construction processes, order of operations, and site logistics.
  • Experience in contract management, financial acumen, and vendor oversight.
  • Ability to work with customers, property owners, and internal teams to resolve project-related issues.
  • OSHA 30-hour certification for the telecommunications industry required.
  • Prior experience with Ericsson equipment and tools is a plus.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while ensuring safety and quality compliance.
