We are seeking a skilled and motivated Construction Litigation Attorney with strong experience representing clients in complex construction-related disputes. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in construction law, including handling claims involving breach of contract, construction defects, delay damages, design errors, and payment disputes such as liens and bond claims.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in all phases of construction litigation and arbitration matters.
  • Draft and negotiate construction-related contracts, change orders, and settlement agreements.
  • Handle discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediation, and trial preparation.
  • Analyze construction schedules, budgets, plans, and technical documentation.
  • Advise clients on risk management, regulatory compliance, and dispute avoidance strategies.

Qualifications:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school; active member in good standing with the Florida Bar.
  • 2+ years of experience in construction litigation or a related practice area.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex caseloads and independently handle matters from inception to resolution.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
  • Knowledge of AIA contract documents and relevant Florida statutes (eg, Chapter 558, lien and bond law) preferred.
  • Experience working with international clients and cross-border construction issues is a plus.
