Quality Assurance Representative
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Representative (QAR) to join our team. The QAR Oversee quality control processes to confirm work aligns with federal standards and specifications. Coordinate project audits and inspections, ensuring compliance with federal regulations, safety protocols, and contractual requirements. This role is in support of the California Wildfire Debris Removal mission for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE or Government).
We currently have three levels required:
QA Representative III (Senior) - 5 FTEs
QA Representative II (Mid-Level) - 8 FTEs
QA Representative I (Junior) 6 FTEs
Responsibilities:
The QAR is responsible for observing and reporting on contractor activities to ensure compliance with contract requirements, safety regulations (EM 385-1-1), and established construction practices.
QARs monitor debris removal operations, document contractor performance, and provide detailed reports on work progress, adherence to safety protocols, and compliance with plans and specifications.
They maintain professional working relationships with contractor personnel, clarify standard requirements, and provide general guidance on accepted methods and practices.
While they may offer suggestions to contractors, they are not authorized to approve deviations from approved plans or specifications.
QARs must have a minimum of two (2) years of experience in construction inspection, quality assurance, or a related field, with a fundamental understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety protocols.
The QA Representative (QAR) shall utilize a cell phone app for completing daily reports.
Salary:
QA Rep III - $37.82/hour plus $5.36/hour (Cash in Lieu of Benefits)
QA Rep II - $30.92/hour plus $5.36/hour (Cash in Lieu of Benefits)
QA Rep I - $22.31/hour plus $5.36/hour (Cash in Lieu of Benefits)
Location: 100% onsite. The work to be performed under this contract will take place within Los Angeles County, specifically at Palisades, Eaton, and the landfill. The work falls within the geographical boundaries of the USACE Los Angeles District,
